How one Messi event can change ones life!
Ahhhhh.... What can I say!?!? It seems things gang up on you just in the right time. With a lot of shitty stuff going on at work, and a complete chaos in personal life, just a little nudge on one of the few things you greatly enjoy in life makes things just too damn perfect!
It's almost heartbreaking if it wasn't so pathetic to know that I have just finished 35th minute of complete silence after the final whistle of Barcelona's match against Internazionale! Yes, this the latest passion. A passion that has been re-ignited by Messi. Who remains to be the most talented player in the world. He really brought happiness to my heart. Sounds weird? Well, it might. But for someone who enjoys football way to much, and plays it every week at least once, this is the equivalent of world class poetry for a rising poet. By allegiance, I'm an Argentina fan. And by consequence, I'm a Barcelona fan. Because it's such a hard thing to watch Barcelona play the way they do, with that little, yet grand, magician in their rank! I can swear that my week gets brighter every time he scores a goal. Usually Saturdays and Sundays are the days when Barca play. Occasionally they play on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which means that one great performance on one of these days makes me happy all week long until the next match.
He is just amazing! He plays in a way I've never seen before. We've been waiting for the new Maradona far too long, and it seemed he will never be reborn. Yet with this guy, you always get the feeling that this is the real deal! In fact, you get the feeling that he will be even better.
Barcelona won the match, but not with a scoreline enough for them to qualify to the final. To add insult to injury, it was that freak Mourinho. A psycho in full manifestation. Now everyone will be composing poetry on how Mourinho managed to stop Messi! If you ask me, it was Messi's own doing, not Mourinho's Inter. He faced bigger challenges and always emerged on top!
Congratulations to Inter, and Hard luck to Barcelona. Maybe now Guardiola will realize what a stop mistake it was to swap Eto'o with that pathetic excuse of a player, Ibrahimovic.
I kind of get the feeling that 2010 is not my year. Usually it isn't when it's the world cup. This time it's all the more predictable since Maradona decided to transform Argentina into an experiment. If Argentina doesn't win the world cup, which is likely to happen, this year will prove to be another lousy year for me.
